Both athletes and unified partners practice out of Smithtown. Practice days, times, and the field address come with your enrollment confirmation.

Athletes with intellectual disabilities and unified partners without them play to the full extent of their abilities. Not just a buddy program — a team. Make new friends, exercise, and share you love of the game!

Every player is the headliner.

No one rides the bench here. Every player will get out on the field. You arrive as an athlete and leave as the star.

Volunteer Hours.

Unified partners can earn volunteer hours from Special Olympics New York (SONY) by participating in the program. Partners will receive instruction and certification to pave the way to participate in other SONY events and sports.

Athletes with intellectual disabilities and unified partners without them, both based on Long Island. Our teams welcome new players for the 2026 season.
Where do the teams practice?
Both athletes and unified partners practice out of Smithtown. We share the exact field address, days, and times once you request enrollment.
What's the deadline?
Enrollment closes September 11, 2026. After that the 2026 roster is sealed.
